Some Suggested Scripturally Sound and Scientifically Sourced Stop Light Foods

Preamble:

The Foods and Beverages that people Consume have a profound impact on their Heatlh. The Scientific Connection between Food and Health has been well documented for many decades, with substantial and increasingly robust evidence showing that a Healthy Lifestyle–including following a Healthy Dietary Pattern–can help people achieve and maintain Good Health and reduce the risk of Chronic Diseases throughout all stages of the Lifespan: infancy and toddlerhood, childhood and adolescence, adulthood, pregnancy and lactation, and older adulthood. The core elements of a Healthy Dietary Pattern are remarkably consistent across the Lifespan and across Health Outcomes. GREEN Stop Light Foods (Eat as much as your heart desires):

Apples

Bot Choy

Seeded Grapefruit

Lemons

Mangoes

Seeded Oranges

Papaya

Peaches

Pears

Seeded Watermelon

YELLOW Stop Light Foods (Supplementary and/or Conditional Consumption):

Bell Peppers

Beans

Black Coffee or Plain Green Tea

Cruciferous Vegetables such as Broccoli, Brussel Sprouts or Cauliflower 

Green Leafy Vegetables such as Collards, Kale or Spinach

Garlic

Mushrooms 

Non-Dairy Milk such as Cashew or Oat Milk (avoid Soy Milk)

Olives

Onions

Orange Vegetables such as Sweet Potatoes or Squash

Purple Vegetables such as Egg Plant or Purple Cabbage

Raw Organic Honey

Red Vegetables such as Beets or Radish or Red Cabbage

Minimally Processed Whole Grains meaning the Bran and Germ remain intact after any Processing. 

Yellow Vegetables such as Summer Squash or Yukon Gold Potatoes 

Add to Smoothies OR Toppings on Salads OR When Roasting Vegetables OR Brewing Tea:

Anise 

Avocadoes

Black Pepper

Cumin

Ginger

Mint 

Olive Oil

Tomatoes

Turmeric 

Unsalted nuts such as almonds, cashew and walnuts.

Unsalted seeds such as chia, flax, pumpkin and sunflower.

RED Stop Light Foods (An occasional treat. Strive to Refrain from, drastically Reduce and perhaps consider to eventually Remove from your diet):

Alcohol (by far my biggest struggle) 

Caffeine

Chemicals you cannot pronounce OR do not know what they do

Dairy (Especially from Scripturally Unsound Animals)

Eggs (Especially from Scripturally Unsound Birds) 

Gluten

Glycol Phosphate (AKA Round UP)

High Fructose Corn Syrup

Meat (Especially from Scripturally Unsound Animals)  

Highly Processed Foods

Added Oils

Added Salt

Added Sugar

Refined Grains meaning Bran and Germ have been stripped after High Processing and only the Starch remains.  

Seafood (Especially Sea Scavengers such as Shellfish and Shrimp)

Tactical Tidbits:

-When buying produce, try to get Project Verified non-GMO and USDA ORGANIC.

-Wash all produce before eating or cooking. Consider using vinegar or baking soda.

-When eating vegetables raw, try to chew thoroughly or juice them or put in smoothies.  

-Steamed vegetables is preferable to roasted vegetables.  Roasted vegetables are better than processed foods.

-If buying canned or frozen produce, be sure to read the ingredients.  The same with fruit or vegetable juice. Avoid added sugar or sodium.

-Natural Flavors are NOT Natural!  Avoid at all costs!!!

-Focus on foods that is Heart Healthy, Anti-Inflammatory and supports Daily Detoxification.

-Hydration is critical. The most Efficient and Effective Way to stay hydrated is to eat whole foods with high water content and rich in fiber and drink the juice of vegetables.  

-Consider drinking and cooking with purified water.  

-Grounding, Fresh Air and Sunshine.  Try to get 30 minutes a day.

-Get adequate rest.

-Reduce Screen Time.

-Consider wearing Clothing made from Organic Natural Fibers. 

-Consider reducing Personal Care Products made from chemicals.

-Be Appreciative for what you have been Given

-Follow the Instructions of the Almighty One in Spirit and in Truth

-Serve Others in the Name of the MessiYaH

-Prayer Without Ceasing to Cancel, Correct or Cleanse any Spells, Sorcery and Sickness that the Adversary has placed upon any Food Consumed

-But He (the MessiYaH) Answered (the Adversary) and Said, “It is Written, Man shall not Live by Bread alone, but by every Word that Proceedeth, out of the Mouth of [Almighty]!” Matt. 4:4 KJV

-Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the [Esteem] of [Almighty]! 1 Cor 10:31 KJV
