Genesis 2:13

HalleluYaH Scriptures

A Top 20 Verse!

For the river name Gichon, I conducted a brief word comparison of the seven physical Bible Versions I possess in order of publication:

Matthew’s Bible (1537):

GIHON

Geneva Bible (1560):

GIHON

KJV (1611):

GIHON

KJV (1996):

GIHON

HalleluYaH Scriptures (2015):

GICHON**

ISR Scriptures (2018):

GICHON**

eth CEPHER (2020):

GIYCHON

Gichon, I believe pronounced GHEE KHONE, means bursting forth; gusher; great breaking forth (of waters). A River in Eden.

Notes:

The River Gichon is the Second River Named in Genesis 2.  Spared from major alteration or outright substitution.  Very interesting indeed!

**Vowel Pointing Used for the Modern Hebrew Letter Chet. I Spelled Phonetically and Underlined the ch due to the guttural, aspirated h sound as in Bach (the German Composer) and not having the Vowel Pointing Font Available. Please Refer to the Pronunciation Guide in the HalleluYaH Scriptures Name Meaning Booklet for More Information.
